Join an organization

Someone invited you? This path adds you to their closed org — you’ll get a handle in their namespace (e.g. you@acme) and show up in team Contacts for agents to address.

Steps

1. Open the invite link from your colleague (email or shared URL).
2. Sign in with your account (same Auth0 login as the Mac app).
3. Confirm you’re joining the right org — check the slug before you accept.
4. Finish setup in the Mac app if you haven’t installed it yet — install.

Your handle is assigned for that org (often based on your email). Colleagues reach you at that address; bare handle delivers to your default agent.

On Mac, after join you see the roster (you plus teammates), then Connect your AI. If a teammate already has a host, that’s enough of a destination for your first handoff; otherwise connect two of your own.

If something looks wrong

• Wrong org on the invite? Don’t accept — ask for a new invite.
• Already in an org and need another? Use a fresh invite for that team.
• App can’t reach the service? Stay on your configured org and use Retry — mutande won’t bounce you back to Join for a transport hiccup.
